It’s time to redefine what constitutes great website design. Clients, in particular, need to stop settling for an attractive design. That’s a half solution, at best. What you really need (and don’t get from the typical web design company) is a total solution, including great website design and industry leading website copywriting. It makes a difference – and the proof is in the picture that accompanies this advertising blog. It shows the box we use to file the most recent responses generated by just a few of the websites that I have written in recent years for retail businesses, professionals and business to business companies. There are so many the box weights just over 25 pounds!

Many clients get multiple responses. Every day. Yet their websites where virtually dead before I completed the makeover of their web content. That means their website had no meaningful page rank (page 1 or 2) and generated virtually zero response.

Recently, I spoke with a law firm client about the impact of the website rewrite and makeover I completed for his firm three years ago. This is what he told me: “In the last 3 years, our revenue has grown dramatically. It really is the website that made all the difference.” Better still, the strong ranking of his website led to the recent hiring of a new Associate lawyer. “He did not know me personally and I did not know him, and we had no encounters in court. He went online, started searching for law firms and our website kept on coming up #1, That is why is contacted me.”
